Introduction to this survey

The purpose of this survey is to gather anonymous feedback on the proposed Terms of Reference for the Independent Review of the statutory framework for legal services in Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Steering Group is only seeking feedback on the scope of the proposed Terms of Reference and whether the right questions are being asked. Once a reviewer has been appointed there will be further consultation this year on the questions and issues raised in the Terms of Reference.

Content of this survey

There are 29 questions, most of which are multiple choice. You do not need to respond to every question.

The survey includes extracts from the proposed Terms of Reference to provide context for the questions on the proposed objectives, scope and process for the review.  This survey can be completed without referring back to the full proposed terms of reference. However, the proposed Terms of Reference provide additional background and context. You can draw on this information to assist you in responding to this survey.
