Galway City Council is pleased to invite you to take part in the
third non-statutory public consultation for the Renmore Neighbourhood Park Project. The Renmore Neighbourhood Park Project represents an exciting opportunity to reimagine and connect the green spaces located throughout Renmore, Ballyloughane Beach and Lough Atalia.
This consultation stage will remain open for a four-week period from Thursday 9th April to Sunday 10th May 2026. This stage of engagement builds on extensive community consultation undertaken during spring and autumn 2025. At each stage of engagement, community participation was strong, and the feedback received has played a central role in informing and shaping the evolution of the project.
The Design Team has reviewed and analysed this feedback and, having regard to relevant policy requirements and site constraints, has prepared
preferred designs for Renmore, Ballyloughane Beach, and Lough Atalia. The survey includes questions relating to the preferred designs presented on the Information Boards.
Please read the Information Boards before completing the survey. The survey may be completed online using a mobile phone, laptop or desktop device. Alternatively, feedback can be provided in- person at the
drop-in public consultation event taking place on
Monday 20th April 2026 (3:30pm-8pm) in the Connacht Hotel. Paper copies of the survey will also be available at the event.
The survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete.
If you have any difficulties completing the survey, please email
