Fully review this application prior to completing. The application requires a number of supporting documents.

Do not submit an application until you have all of the supporting documents. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Applications are due February 15, 2026 by 5 p.m. ET.

Interested applicants can submit a one-page Prospectus, summarizing the proposed project, and resume by December 1, 2025 and receive feedback from the selection committee before submitting their final application. The Prospectus submission is optional. The Prospectus can be submitted via form linked on the Community Law Fellowship page.

* 8. Provide a project proposal that focuses on legal issues affecting Asian Pacific Americans. Your project proposal should clearly state how the project will address a specific legal matter, how it will positively impact the Asian Pacific American community, and how the Host Organization will support their efforts. The maximum length is three pages, double spaced.

a. What unique background, beliefs, values, and/or experiences (personal and professional) have shaped your career choices and interest in participating in the NLF Community Law Fellowship?

c. What do you hope to achieve over the course of the Fellowship?
d. How do you expect participation in the NAPABA Community Law Fellowship to contribute to your long-term personal and professional goals? Please be as specific as possible.

Please provide at least two letters of recommendation along with any supporting materials that you would like the committee to review. If letters of recommendations cannot be secured by February 15, 2026 at 5 pm ET, please indicate when the NLF Community Law Foundation should expect to receive them. NLF recommends that the letter of recommendations be attached to this application. If needed, letters of recommendation can be sent separately to: nlfstaff@napaba.org.
