Associate Board members are professionals who are interested in expanding their knowledge of non-profit board governance in support of the Women’s Health Leadership TRUST (TRUST). Associate Board members will:
  • Learn about Board operations, governance, program development and execution;
  • Create new membership engagement ideas;
  • Leverage network to promote the TRUST and sponsorship opportunities;
  • Actively represent the Associate Board at TRUST events;
  • Work collaboratively with the TRUST Board of Directors and Association Management Staff.
  • Provide input on programming and core curriculum for TRUST participants
Eligibility for Associate Board Members:
  • Minimum of 8 years professional work experience;
  • No more than 1 other concurrent board commitment;
  • Professionally involved in the health care industry;
Commitment for Associate Board Members:
  • Sustain a TRUST membership;
  • Commit to a two-year term;
  • Up to 6 hours per month of TRUST Associate Board work and related activities;
  • Attend monthly Associate Board meetings;
  • Actively participate in 1 TRUST Committee or Sub-Committee;
  • Attend 1 TRUST event per quarter
  • Co-host 1 new member breakfast per year;
  • Attend Forum Event and Annual Meeting.
  • $150 Annual Dues Payment
