  • What a riparian area is and why it matters
  • How to look at a project site, including how to identify plants and soil types
  • How to get rid of common streamside weeds
  • How to plan your project, including picking the right plants and thinking about things like wildfires or floods
  • How to plant and take care of your plants after they are in the ground
  • What local groups can help you with your project
At the end of the workshop, you may talk one-on-one with experts to get help with your project or land.
