Hello! Welcome to the application process for the 2017 edition of the Young Water Fellowship.

The Program aims to empower 10 young leaders like you to implement projects to tackle water, sanitation and hygiene, water pollution and/or water scarcity issues at a community-level, by offering you an intensive one-week training program in Brussels, seed funding opportunities for your projects, and mentoring support by senior level experts.

Before applying, check out the conditions. You should:
- Be 18 to 30 years old at the time of the application
- Have a water project idea to contribute to the solution of a WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene), water pollution or water scarcity problem
- Be a resident from this list of low and mid income countries
- Be the founder or co-founder of the project idea you’re proposing
- The project must not have been implemented yet, although new phases of pilot projects are accepted
- Be able to attend a workshop in Belgium in November 2017 (18th-26th), and cover your personal costs from your residency to the airport and back (the rest of the travel expenses, such as flights, transport in Belgium, accommodation and meals are covered).
- Be able to cover your visa expenses (we will provide Invitation letter).
- Be able to communicate in English (intermediate level at least).

To apply, you will need to record a 2 min. video describing your project proposal and the problem it seeks to address and provide us the link to watch it or download it (in YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc) and fill in 36 questions about your project and yourself. No answer about yourself is right or wrong: what we value the most is honesty in the answers.

Please notice that the form does not allow you to save the answers before submitting. If you want to work on your application offline, you can download the questions here and apply online when you are ready.

Make sure you have read the full program description and Terms of Reference (and Q&A) before applying.
If you don't find the answers to your questions in the Q&A, contact us:
