The following four (4) principles of discernment will guide the decision-making process and the focus meetings on the subject of the utilization of the Bestgate property:

- The property's usage must further and be consistent with the purpose and mission of the parish as a whole and must offer opportunities for established and new apostolates to grow the spiritual outreach of the parish;

-The property must be self-supporting, meaning it cannot be a financial burden on the parish;

- All discussions must be conducted in a manner consistent with our parish's values and culture;

- The process must be consultative, collaborative and include all who wish to participate.
