Dear Respondents,
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey. It is conducted as part of the EU-funded project UNICOPS, which aims to enhance the protection of universities against CBRNE threats (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and explosives). This survey is anonymous and intended exclusively for scientific and research purposes. Your responses will help us better understand the specific needs of universities in this field and will contribute to the development of tailored solutions, including procedures, recommendations, and IT tools.
Before proceeding, we would like to clarify two key terms used in this survey:
CBRNE Threat: A deliberate act intended to cause harm to people or places through the use of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, or Explosive materials.
HAZMAT Risk: A situation where individuals or locations are at risk due to exposure to hazardous or dangerous substances, typically as a result of accidents or unintended incidents.
To conclude, both CBRNE and HAZMAT involve hazardous materials, however CBRNE refers specifically to intentional attacks or releases, whereas HAZMAT generally involves accidental exposures.
The survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Thank you for your valuable input.
Sincerely,
The UNICOPS Consortium
