Survey to gather comments on the first draft of the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science
Since November 2019, UNESCO has been leading the development of an international standard-setting instrument on Open Science in the form of a UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science. Following an extensive global consultation, and a series of regional and thematic consultations, the first draft of the Recommendation on Open Science was submitted to UNESCO’s Member States and is available for comments.
The perspectives of the international scientific community and their assessment of the draft text will assist UNESCO and its Member States in the development of the final text of the Recommendation on Open Science, expected to be adopted by Member States in November 2021.
ISC along with IAP, WFEO and ALLEA are assisting UNESCO in gathering comments on the first draft text of the Recommendation from the scientific community represented by their respective members.
The following survey addresses the current content of the draft text of the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science with a final section containing more general questions that are best addressed after responding to the specific questions.
Please click here to access the draft Recommendations.
The survey will require approx. 15 - 20 minutes of your time.
We appreciate your valuable input.
