Program Overview
The Urban Conservation and Community Fellowship Program aims to identify high-potential individuals interested in working with community-based, non-profit organizations. Each UCC Fellow will be placed with a non-profit, community partner host organization and develop a twelve (12) month work plan in collaboration with the host, the Fund, and the UCC Fellowship Advisory Council.

The UCC Fellowship Program will provide full-time experience working at the community-scale, assisting communities in realizing park, trail, or other greenspace visions and related social, economic, and environmental benefits.

Locations and Host Organizations
  • First Ward Community Services: We’re looking for a candidate to help enhance and maintain green space assets, ensuring their long-term sustainability. This role will support our workforce initiative by creating opportunities for engagement at all levels, helping to build a pyramid of involvement with our community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for environmental stewardship and fostering community engagement.
