Together HP: Place of Remembrance Design Concept Survey

INTRODUCTION

The City of Highland Park is in the process of creating the design for the permanent Place of Remembrance to honor the memory of those whose lives were taken in the Highland Park shooting, and to reflect on the resiliency of our community. We invite you to share your feedback on three draft design concepts.

SWA Group, the landscape architecture firm leading this project, and All Together, the community engagement partner, have worked together to engage the community in developing these concepts. That input shaped every concept you'll see here. As we move forward with a primary Place of Remembrance at the Rose Garden and a secondary site at Port Clinton, your feedback will directly shape the final design.

This survey takes about 10 minutes. There are no right or wrong answers, and you don't have to answer every question. We're sharing these in a survey format so you can take your time, reflect in private, and respond when and how it feels right for you.

What you share in this survey will remain anonymous, but will be shared as a summary with the working group planning for a permanent Place of Remembrance and the City Council. Your perspective matters, and we're grateful you're sharing it with us.
