Introduction

Thank you for working together with us to develop Te Mātaiaho, the refreshed the New Zealand Curriculum (NZC). You can access an electronic copy of Te Mātaiaho | the draft curriculum framework at https://curriculumrefresh.education.govt.nz/get-involved .

The survey has been designed as a group exercise and the discussion will take about 1 hour. We also welcome individual responses where group work is not possible. We recommend having Te Mātaiaho open in front of you as you progress through the survey.

At the end of last year, we sought feedback on an incomplete draft of the framework for Te Mātaiaho. We have updated this framework based on what we heard and now we would like your feedback on the latest version.

This survey will ask for specific feedback on three components:

·         Mātairea | Supporting progress

·         Mātaioho | School curriculum design and review

·         Mātaiahikā | Connecting to place and community

The survey will also ask for feedback on:

·         The draft framework as a whole.

·         How ready your school feels to start responding to Te Mātaiaho, and the usefulness of available supports and resources.
