Thank you for your interest in the Single Mom Scholar Program.
In order to be eligible for this program, you must meet certain eligibility requirements. Please be aware that this program does not help people get into college programs, and you must have already completed at least one semester of college classes prior to applying. Additional eligibility requirements include:
Live in Pima County
Take at least 9 credit hours each semester while in the program
Have at least one child living with you that is 11 years old or younger
Be currently enrolled in an accredited college and working on a degree program
Have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher
Be a single mother

For the purpose of this program, a single mother is defined as a woman who lives with a child or children and who does not have a spouse or live-in partner. Reasons for becoming a single parent include divorce, break-up, abandonment, domestic violence, rape, death of the other parent, childbirth by a single person or single-person adoption.
