About the Our Experiences through COVID-19 project:
2020 has been a year of constant change for South Australias from bushfires, our first wave of COVID and now November's circuit breaker. Through our early conversations with four lived/living experience representatives, we learnt that South Australians had mixed feelings about this year. Some felt uncertain, confused, not in control and lonely. While others viewed this an opportunity for society to connect in non-traditional ways, to breathe, reset and refocus.

People in the lived/living experience community have navigated uncertain and turbulent times like these before, and through doing so have developed tips, tricks, tools and other wisdom that needs to be heard and can be used to shape better responses. This survey invties you to reflect on these experiences, what you did/didn't do to navigate these times and what you wanted and needed in the moment.

Please note, you do not have to answer every question to complete the survey.

About the survey results:
Survey results will be further explored in an online workshop held in the later future. All ideas will be synthesised into a report that will be distributed to not only the lived/living experience community but to service providers, non-government organisations and government agencies. Responses to Questions 6, 8, 15, 16 and 22 will be showcased on our LELAN website, as part of "Our Stories behind COVID19" initiativeYour voice will direct LELAN's advocacy actions and work moving forward.

About the information you share with us:
The survey is anonymous. Your privacy and confidentiality will be respected.

Questions about your lived/living experience and how you personally identify helps us understand who is engaging with our projects and work more broadly. We will not disclose personal and/or identifying information about a person without their consent or in a way that they do not agree with.

We are mindful that the experiences we are asking you to reflect on can be heavy and cause distress. We encourage you to take breaks if you find yourself too immersed in the heaviness of your experiences, to seek comfort and safety in the things that work for you.

Please complete this and share it with your networks and connections.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact our Peer Project Officer via sam@lelan.org.au. Sam is only with us on Friday, so please bear with her if she doesn't get back to you immediately.
