"One for all, all for one"
Welcome to the 20th Conference of the European Federation of Therapeutic Communities! The EFTC conference brings together all therapeutic communities (TCs) in Europe, as well as their partners in residential care, addiction treatment and the health, social and medico-social fields.
Its objectives are to:
- Promote exchanges between European professionals, foster the identification of stakeholders and enhance mutual understanding of professional practices.
- Highlight the innovative and high-quality practices of French and European TCs to partners and public authorities.
For this anniversary event, the EFTC 2026 conference will take place in Bordeaux, France, on 22, 23 and 24 September 2026.
The motto of the congress is ‘one for all, all for one’: in a societal and political context marked by individualism and isolationism, mutual aid and solidarity are more necessary than ever, as they are the founding principles of therapeutic communities!
Present your project at the EFTC 2026 conference!
The EFTC 2026 program, endorsed by a Scientific Committee, is based on the fieldwork of French and international stakeholders. We therefore invite you to respond to our call for abstracts to present, in a workshop or plenary session, an activity, project or research study related to one of our four key themes.
To present a project, simply respond to this call for abstracts before 31 March 2026 at 5 pm CET.
