Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey to inform the co-development of a five-year Community Tourism Strategy between the Town of Saugeen Shores and Saugeen First Nation.
This strategy is a result of the Friendship Accord Partnership - Wiijkiwenydiwaad Miinwa Zgaabiignigan, meaning ‘Friends with one another and we are connected’, signed in January 2025 by the Town of Saugeen Shores and Saugeen First Nation. The Accord Partnership identifies four (4) guiding pillars, including Pillar 2: Shared Tourism Initiatives, as a road map for working together on things that foster growth in both communities and strengthen relationships.
This survey is focused on engaging the Town of Saugeen Shores and Saugeen First Nation’s residents and tourism industry members who are aged 18 and above. This includes year-round and seasonal/temporary residents, and individuals who own or operate visitor-facing businesses located in the Town of Saugeen Shores and Saugeen First Nation.
Your responses to this will support the creation of the Town of Saugeen Shores and Saugeen First Nation’s Community Tourism Strategy.
The questionnaire, which should take you approximately 7-10 minutes to complete, is made up of 17 questions. The survey will close at 4:00pm on Friday, 30 April 2026.
Your responses to this survey are anonymous, meaning we will not collect any identifying information. Anything that can be linked to you or your business, will be removed as part of the analysis process.
