Dennington Playground Relocation - Coghlans Reserve

Playground location
We’re keen to hear your thoughts on the proposed location of a playground in the northern section of Coghlans Reserve North Dennington, between Bourne Boulevard and Gat Sing Way. The playground was removed from the Dennington Recreation Reserve due to safety concerns, and we are now considering this as the new location. We are also keen to find out what playground equipment you would prefer.
Council uses these criteria from the Play Space Strategic Framework, when selecting a location for a new playground:
  1. Equitable access to playgrounds for all (within 400m walking distance)
  2. Seating
  3. Accessible paths to and from the playground
  4. Lighting of key areas surrounding the playground
