The Nature Conservancy, J.A. Woollam Preserve, and Narnia |
Introduction
The Nature Conservancy in Michigan (TNC) invites the public to provide input and feedback on the J.A. Woollam Preserve and the Bush Bay Trail (AKA “Narnia”) near Cedarville and Hessel in Clark Township. The Trail has experienced a significant increase in visitation since the COVID-19 pandemic, which has caused visible impacts to the trail and the visitor experience.
Through this survey, TNC hopes to learn about how you use the Trail, what it means to you, your thoughts on impacts, and your thoughts on TNC as they seek to mitigate the impacts of use and improve experiences there.
This survey will remain open until May 26, 2026 and will take an estimated 10-15 minutes to complete.
TNC and its partners will host various events throughout the next year regarding the J.A. Woollam Preserve and the Bush Bay Trail.
- Four “Community Conversations” for project input, feedback, and updates
- Presentations at Aldo Leopold Festival in May, and informational tables at July Farmers’ Market & Boat Festival
- Volunteer opportunities
