About the RISE Leadership Conference
-The RISE Leadership Conference is a full-day event designed specifically for young professionals aged 21-39 who are looking to develop their leadership skills.
-The 2026 RISE Leadership Conference will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Springfield Convention Center.
-The theme for the 2026 RISE Leadership Conference will be Building Bold Leaders: Block by Block.
-The top professional development topics our young professionals and employers of young professionals have indicated are most important to them in our 2025 surveys are effective communication skills, networking & relationship building, managing change, team building & collaboration, and stress management & resilience.
About Session Proposals
-Approximately 50 minutes in length
-Session proposals are reviewed by the RISE Special Project Sub-Committee and do not guarantee placement in the final conference program.
-Presenter assumes all costs associated with their presentation.
-Speakers must be members of The Chamber at the time of submission for their proposal to be considered (for information on joining, please contact Teri Hill at thill@gscc.org).
-The selection process is expected to be completed by early December 2025.
If Selected
-Speakers will be highlighted and announced on the: The Chamber's and RISE's event calendars, RISE social media accounts, The Horizon (The RISE monthly e-newsletter), The Brief (The Chamber's e-newsletter), press releases, along with additional announcement channels.
-Speakers will be invited to join attendees for lunch and the reception following the conclusion on the conference program.
