Scholarship Application Information
All applications must be received by PHA Canada by 5:00 pm, Pacific Time, on June 12, 2026.
This travel scholarship is reserved for individuals and families who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference due to financial barriers.
As funding is limited, we ask that you carefully consider your situation before applying. This support is intended for those for whom financial assistance is essential to their ability to attend. If you are able to cover your own travel or accommodation costs, we kindly ask that you leave these funds for others in greater need.
By applying thoughtfully, you help ensure that members of our community facing the greatest financial barriers are not left behind.
Scholarship funds will be allocated based on need and the availability of resources. Priority will be placed on supporting newly diagnosed patients/families and community members new to PHA Canada events and the Scholarship Program. All applications will be considered, including those who have received financial assistance in the past.
Please review the scholarship guidelines carefully before submitting your application.
Please submit one scholarship application per household. If you are a patient and will be accompanied by someone who does not reside with you, please include them in your scholarship application.
Please prepare budget estimates for travel and/or accommodation costs before filling out this form. You will be asked to provide this information before submitting your application.
*Late applications will be accepted on a rolling basis if funds remain. However, due to a large number of applications and limited funds, we strongly encourage you to apply before the application deadline. After-deadline application, priority is given to those who are very newly diagnosed.
Your privacy is of the utmost importance to PHA Canada. All information in this application is confidential and will only be shared with selected staff. All decisions will be made based on reasonable travel costs and in accordance with PHA Canada’s Travel Policy.
