TACER Pilot Program Eligibility Screening

The Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Energy Programs Office (EPO) is launching the Technical Assistance for Community Energy and Resilience (TACER) Pilot Program. It is an eight-month, service-first program designed to help community-based organizations and local partners move energy affordability and resilience projects from idea to implementation. The pilot will support participants in identifying funding opportunities, strengthening project readiness, and preparing competitive grant applications.
Eligibility Screening:
Who should fill out this form: Someone from your organization with decision-making authority, such as an Executive or Director level with access to organizational information. You may not have easy access to all of this information. Please complete it to the best of your ability.

Program Description: The program consists of eight months of virtual cohort-based meetings, one-to-one consultations, and independent work outside of meeting times. Please review the full program description, linked here, before completing this Interest Form.
1.Is your organization a public or private nonprofit organization or association based in Pennsylvania and primarily serving communities in Pennsylvania?(Required.)
2.Does the project you intend to pursue serve low-income/low-wealth communities and focus on energy affordability, efficiency, or community resilience?(Required.)
3.Will your organization commit to participating in the entirety of the program?
Program Description: The Pilot is an 8-month program. The total time commitment for the program is estimated to be a minimum of 7 hours per month: 2 meetings per month (1 monthly cohort-based group session, 1 monthly one-to-one consultation), and an additional 5-10 hours outside of monthly training and consultation sessions.(Required.)
