Thank you for your interest in becoming a HP Teaching Fellow

The HP Teaching Fellows will become a network of like-minded educators engaged in professional learning opportunities aimed at growing innovative classroom practice. This exclusive program will welcome 30 middle and high school teachers from across the U.S. and Canada.

Ideal candidates will have a passion for designing powerful learning opportunities. We see powerful learning in pedagogies that emphasize the following pairs of principles: Personal & Accessible, Authentic & Challenging, Collaborative & Connected, and Inquisitive & Reflective. Fellows must be Windows/Microsoft users.

Teaching Fellows will commit to ongoing engagement through at least June 2020. This includes:
  • Engaging their students in powerful learning experiences that advance the development of deeper learning competencies
  • Demonstrating practical and replicable uses of technology
  • Being active on social media, and leading and participating in twitter chats and webinars
  • Preparing and publishing their teaching Fellow Profile including relevant resources practices and stories
  • Participating in product testing and focus groups
  • Presenting their practices at conferences
  • Participating in online community activities with cohort members
  • Earning micro-credentials to amplify current practices and learn new ones
  • Hosting classroom visits with advanced request and permission
  • Participating in an annual convening of the cohort
The Fellowship also opens opportunities beyond June 2020 to mentor new Fellows, facilitate professional development, and participate in the awarding of microcredentials.
