Pathways began by supporting a young woman named Monica, who, with their guidance, gained advanced training, secured full-time employment, and achieved independence—a mission the organization continues for countless young women today.

The Huntington Beach Wetlands & Wildlife Conservancy - The Huntington Beach Wetlands & Wildlife Conservancy is a nonprofit organization committed to acquiring, restoring, and protecting the coastal wetlands of southeast Huntington Beach. Founded in 1985, the Conservancy has preserved and restored key marsh habitats including Talbert, Brookhurst, Magnolia, and Newland Marshes to safeguard native wildlife and provide vital open space for future generations. Through habitat restoration, education, community events, and guided tours at its Interpretive Center, the Conservancy inspires stewardship of these rare coastal ecosystems and engages the public in conservation efforts.
