2026 SGNA Annual Course Scholarship

Overview

The SGNA Annual Course Scholarships have been established to financially assist SGNA members with attendance to the Annual Course. This year's event will take place in Atlanta, GA. The number and amount of scholarships awarded will depend upon the funds available.

Scholarship funds will be sent to the selected applicants by check as a reimbursement post-Annual Course. All applicants will be guaranteed the “early bird” registration rate if funds are not awarded.

Applicants are asked to respond to all questions and responses should reflect their commitment and participation in SGNA over the last year. Applicants who apply should be available to attend the Annual Course from May 17-19, 2026 in Atlanta, GA.

You may be eligible for an SGNA Annual Course Scholarship if:

You are a member of SGNA.
You are currently employed in gastroenterology.
You consent to SGNA publishing name and title, if selected for the award, in our membership communication materials.

You are ineligible if:

You have previously received the Annual Course Scholarship or the First Time Attendee Annual Course Scholarship in the past five years.
You are only planning on attending optional sessions or a single day.
You are a member of the SGNA Board of Directors.
