Introduction
Earlier this year, we asked the community about their preferences for service through stakeholder meetings and a community survey. Based on that feedback we developed two conceptual service designs that represent two contrasting approaches for how to reimagine SunLine’s service within existing resources constraints.
One network design focuses on service where there are large numbers of people and destinations, and the other focuses on providing coverage. Ridership and coverage are two very important goals of transit, but they are competing goals, in that investing more on one means investing less on the other.
Please look at the two conceptual network designs on the next page and let us know what you think. Your feedback will help us design a final network plan that incorporates elements from both concepts and improves service to the Coachella Valley. Your input truly makes a difference!
Completing this survey will give you the chance of winning a $100 gift card.
