DPIRD has engaged a consortium of Landcare and Catchment groups across the Southwest Region of Western Australia to deliver research and trials on the value of dung beetles in maintaining soil health and improving farm productivity. This two-year program involves establishing a baseline of grower livestock and soil management practices, followed by dung beetle monitoring and information sharing with farmers.
