Queensland Writers Centre’s annual national Scriptable program is an opportunity for emerging screenwriters to develop their scripts and careers.
Applications of unproduced scripts are accepted across a broad range of genres and formats, including feature screenplays, television and web series, short films and short film collections.
Successful (shortlisted) applicants to the program receive consultation with QWC staff, reader feedback, and one-on-one mentorship with a matched industry professional, with the aim of sparking ongoing creative and professional connections in the local screen industry.

Applications open: Monday 25 August – Tuesday 7 October 2025

By making an application, applicants acknowledge to have read and understood the Application Guidelines.
