Southwest Service Area Master Plan

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is creating a new master plan for all neighborhood parks south of I-394 and west of I-35W. The Southwest Service Area Master Plan (SW Parks Plan for short) will consider how parks are designed, operated, maintained, and improved.  It will include concept plans for all exterior facilities (ballfields, playgrounds, etc.) for each neighborhood park, but does not include regional parks such as the Minneapolis Chain of Lakes Regional Park.
Based on a wide variety of community input received on "initial concepts" for all 43 southwest parks, MPRB has now developed the next round of revised designs.  Concepts can be viewed on the project webpage:
