Lookout Park is uniquely positioned to serve both the residents of Trinity Bay North and visitors to the Bonavista Peninsula. With its distinctive swimming area, recreational offerings, and scenic views, the park already provides a strong foundation for growth. By enhancing these features and introducing new program elements, Lookout Park has the potential to become a key inland destination within the Discovery UNESCO Global Geopark.
Mills & Wright Landscape Architecture have been engaged by the Municipality of Trinity Bay North to develop a Master Plan for Lookout Park. The Plan will guide the revitalization of the park to better meet the need of residents, attract visitors and align with broader regional tourism objectives.
