Overview

The Speed Skating Canada Awards Program is presented annually to deserving individuals in a number of categories. The awards recognize significant contributions and achievements by some of our sport’s most dedicated stakeholders  ̶  from athletes and coaches, to officials, volunteers and partners.

Speed Skating Canada recognizes that COVID-19 was still prevalent during the 2021-22 season and will take this key factor into account when evaluating awards nominations. Please be sure to include an overview of any unique ways the nominee has helped the speed skating community overcome the ongoing challenges brought forth by the COVID-19 pandemic in your submission.

Please take the time to read through the Awards Information Package, which provides an overview of all the awards, along with details on the nomination process, eligibility and selection criteria.
