Shaping SRA membership: This survey is mainly designed to capture your thoughts and feeling about SRA membership.
This is a great opportunity to share your voice and help us to improve our membership offer to you. Most of the questions have been designed with this in mind.

We will also ask you a few questions about:

Online platform use: These questions are to support the ongoing development of our new Member Hub Platform.

Improving Accessibility and Inclusivity: We're partnering with The Social Investment Consultancy (TSIC) to audit our training courses and identify barriers to participation. This survey will inform the audit, and your feedback will help us make SRA training more accessible to all members
How we use your data
  • The Social Research Association (SRA) is the data controller for this survey.
  • We will treat your answers confidentially and nothing you share in the survey will be connected to personal details like your name, email, phone number, or address.
  • A restricted number of SRA staff and trustees will have access to the data solely for the purpose of preparing summary reports.
  • Personal information such as caring commitments, gender, sex, age, disability, ethnicity etc will be used in analysis to help us build an up-to-date profile of our members. These questions are optional to complete, any responses are helpful in ensuring our membership offer reflects the diversity of our community and helps us identify and address any barriers to participation, inclusion, or engagement.
  • Your personal data collected will be securely stored and retained for no more than two years, after which it will be permanently deleted.
  • Analysis related to the accessibility and inclusivity audit only will be shared with TSIC.
