Welcome to the Vibrant survey!

The City of St. Albert is developing Vibrant: A Plan for Parks and Open Spaces. This plan will help guide future decisions about parks, trails, natural areas, playgrounds, sport spaces, and open spaces across the city.

This survey asks about how you currently use St. Albert’s parks and open spaces, what types of experiences matter most to you, and what trade-offs you would consider when choosing between different park and open space options. The survey includes both regular questions and a short choice exercise where you will be asked to compare different park experiences.

Your feedback will help the City better understand community preferences and plan for a park system that supports a range of needs, interests, and experiences. Your responses will be kept confidential and combined with others' responses. Results will be reported as overall findings, not by individual participant.

The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Personal information obtained relating to these sessions is collected under the authority of Section 4(c) of the Protection of Privacy Act, SA 2024, c P-28.5, as amended, for the purpose of receiving public participation and decision-making.

Information collected will be treated in accordance with the privacy protection provisions of Part 1 of the Protection of Privacy Act. Please note that these sessions may be video recorded and/or may be transcribed. The meetings may be made available for viewing on the City’s public website or forums either using the recording or the transcription. The recordings could include a full visual and audio recording of all presenters and any presentations.
