Live-in Treatment Quality Standard Public Feedback Survey

About this survey

Le sondage est également disponible en français.

For the last two decades, the Knowledge Institute on Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions (the Knowledge Institute) has been bringing people and knowledge together to strengthen care for infants, children, young people, and caregivers. Since 2018, we've invested in developing quality standards to inform the delivery of high-quality care in Ontario’s child and youth mental health and addictions sector. Our newest quality standard focuses on Live-in Treatment.

We are excited to now share a draft of the Live-in Treatment Quality Standard for your feedback! Public feedback is essential to our process to develop a quality standard that is meaningful, relevant and important to many audiences.

The live-in treatment quality standard offers guiding principles to develop and maintain high-quality live-in treatment programs to support the mental health and substance use health of children and youth in Ontario. This quality standard supports organizations in the sector to improve treatment and reach continuous quality improvement goals. It is also one component of the Ontario Intensive Treatment Pathway (OITP) initiative.

This is not a full draft or a final version of the quality standard. This draft focuses on the core principles, which make up the most important portions of the standard.
