Construction workers account for a disproportionate number of overdose deaths. Through the pandemic, the opioid crisis has further worsened. The Construction Industry Rehabilitation Plan (CIRP) is a union and employer funded organization dedicated to providing treatment for substance use and related mental health issues.

CIRP is in the process of reviewing its programs to ensure that they best meet the needs of BC construction workers and their families. The starting point of this review process is getting a better understanding of the size of the substance use problem in the construction industry, within both union and non-unionized sectors.

This survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete and it is completely anonymous - no one who completes it will be identifiable. There is no link to your personal information and there is no way to identify you through your responses. Thank you very much for your help!
