Churches United Community Survey |
For 38 years, Churches United has worked to provide safe shelter, stable housing, nutritious food and a path toward healing for hundreds of community members every single day in the Fargo-Moorhead metro area. And we intend to continue to be a leader in providing critical services our community needs.
Recently, in our exploration as to what is next for our organization, we identified a critical need to diversify our funding sources. Currently, Churches United raises about 70 percent of its operating revenue each month through generous donors. But we know, as our organization looks to continue to serve long into the future, we must find additional ways to fund our life-saving missions of food, shelter, housing and healing.
After an exhaustive review of our organization, with assistance from outside nonprofit experts, we named as one of our top strategic priorities the intention to explore opportunities that would not only meet a need in our community but also provide additional funding for our organization. Some call this a “social enterprise,” model of funding.
To assist us in this initiative, we are seeking the input of the community. This survey will take 10 minutes to complete. Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts.
