Based on numbers from SHRM. Celebrate initiatives that support and promote HR professionals as successful business leaders. This includes SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification support, professional development, and student engagement to strengthen the future of HR.
M – Most Improved DUAL Membership (Community Enhancement)
Based on numbers from SHRM. Showcase how your chapter grew and strengthened its membership. This includes efforts to engage, retain, and recognize members, as well as initiatives that support SHRM and chapter operations.
P – Promoting the HR Profession (Advancing the HR Profession)
Highlight outreach and advocacy efforts that elevate HR in the workplace and community. This could include partnerships with schools, government engagement, public affairs, SHRM Foundation support, or DEI and workforce readiness programs.
A – Advocacy and Awareness (Also part of Advancing the HR Profession)
Demonstrate how your chapter has increased awareness of HR’s impact through external engagement—media, employers, government officials, or community collaborations.
C – Chapter and Community Excellence (Community Enhancement)
Emphasize programs or services that support your members and enhance your chapter, including volunteer development, leadership recognition, and chapter culture initiatives.
T – Thrive (Selected by the State Council Director)
Tell the story of how your chapter overcame challenges this year. Whether supporting job seekers, embracing DEI, helping local businesses, or serving your community—this is your opportunity to shine.
