Applications are being accepted for SPN's new Mentorship Exchange, launching in January 2026. Applications close on November 20, 2025. Notifications of Acceptance will be sent the week of December 8, 2025. If you are accepted, you will be required to attend a Mentor Information Session on January 6, 2026 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. ET. You will also be required to attend the program kickoff meeting on January 15, 2026 from 4:00-5:00 p.m. ET. Highlights of the program are as follows:
  • A one-year program in a track of your choosing: Leadership, Education (Academic or NPD), Inquiry (Research, QI, EBP), Clinical Practice (experienced, new, or novice), Presenter (leads you through abstract, presentation, or manuscript), or Student Nurse
  • One-on-one mentorship with their mentee match throughout the 12 months, with a minimum of a monthly check-in (virtually).
  • Mentorship Program Guidebook, outlining program expectations, recommended meeting frequency with suggested topics, and additional information.
  • Partner with a Pediatric Nurse in your topic area to:
    • Assist the mentee in developing a goal and timeline for accomplishment
