Welton Street is the historic heart of Five Points and a key corridor for culture, business, and community. As the area continues to evolve, there is an opportunity to define a clear, implementable vision for how transit and the street function moving forward. The Welton Next Steps effort builds on past community input and partners with the community to shape that vision, focusing on the future of transit on Welton Street and developing feasible recommendations. The study area includes Welton Street (Broadway to Downing) and Downing Street (Welton to Blake), recognizing how these corridors work together.

This survey is your opportunity to share what’s working, what needs to change, and what should come next! The survey will be open from Tuesday, April 21st, 2026 to Friday, May 15th, 2026.

Please visit the project webpage to learn more, review the project FAQ, and watch the virtual public meeting recording from Tuesday, April 21st, 2026.
