We want to hear from you!
The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) Parks Division manages 115 parks, covering approximately 660 hectares of land and approximately 100 kilometres of park trails. Parks range from large, regional destination parks to small tot lots and undeveloped green spaces.*
The SCRD is currently reviewing how parks are managed in the Regional District. From Port Mellon to Egmont and across the islands, the goal is to ensure park services are delivered sustainably and consistently across the region.
Your input will help identify what people value most in parks and guide future decisions about services, maintenance and staffing needs to keep our parks safe, clean and well-maintained.
*Please note: This includes parks such as Shirley Macey Park, Connor Park, Cliff Gilker, Dan Bosch Park, Katherine Lake, Roberts Creek Pier, and Coopers Green. It does not include parks within the District of Sechelt or the Town of Gibsons.
The survey will be open until July 3, 2026.
