AHS Awards Nomination Form

Thank you for taking the time to celebrate horticultural excellence by nominating a special person for a Great American Gardener Award! Each year, the American Horticultural Society celebrates outstanding achievements, encourages excellence, and inspires innovation in the art and science of horticulture through its Great American Gardeners Awards Program.

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2027 awards. Please review the descriptions of awards offered, then review the nomination form below. Please gather all materials prior to starting, as the form must be completed in one sitting. If you are not able to answer all the details, that's alright -- just share what you can! 8.Please upload any supporting documents that demonstrate why your nominee should be a next Great American Gardener. This could include letters of recommendation, news articles, letters of recognition or gratitude, photographs, data analysis showing impact, etc. All supporting documents must be compiled into one file before uploading. Thoughtfully written letters of recommendation from recognized colleagues in the field are considered especially important in the committee's selection process.
