Share Your Thoughts About Trees in Your Community

The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is now!!!
You are invited to take part in a survey to share your thoughts and perceptions on trees, and to inform the planning and maintenance of trees and the urban forest in your community and across Santa Clara County.

The County of Santa Clara Office of Sustainability and Resilience is developing a county-wide Urban Forest Master Plan in coordination with Santa Clara Valley Urban Forestry Alliance (SCVUFA). SCVUFA is a work group of the Santa Clara County Climate Collaborative and facilitates collaboration and sharing among urban forestry stakeholders to expand and preserve urban tree canopy and mitigate detrimental effects on the environment and human health, especially in areas with disadvantaged populations. For more information on the Climate Collaborative and SCVUFA, visit https://www.climatecollaborativescc.org.

The Master Plan will provide a 40-year vision for Santa Clara County’s trees, serve as a road map to support regional urban forestry management, and develop community-based strategies to expand tree canopy and connect people with trees.

This survey is part of an initial outreach effort to hear your thoughts about Santa Clara County’s urban forest. Your response will be used to guide the development of the Urban Forest Master Plan.

This project is made possible by CalFire Urban and Community Forestry Grant funding.
