The Lower Columbia Affordable Housing Society (LCAHS) is gathering information about rental housing needs in the region, including Rossland, Trail, Warfield, Montrose, Fruitvale, RDKB Areas A and B, and surrounding communities.
While LCAHS itself is focused on attainable rental housing, this survey is intended to capture a broader range of housing needs and preferences to help inform community housing planning across the Lower Columbia. The information collected will support future housing initiatives, funding applications, and development planning. This initiative is supported by the Lower Columbia Community Development Team Society (LCCDTS) and Kootenay Savings Community Foundation (KSCF).
Individual responses will be kept confidential, and results will be reported in aggregate form only.
Survey deadline extended: Originally scheduled to close on August 15, the survey will now remain open through September 30, 2026.
