LNH associates are expected to be active participants in the program, share their expertise, and work collaboratively for the betterment of New Hampshire. By applying, you confirm your willingness to contribute your time, energy, and perspective to the program, which will run from September 2026 through May 2027.

Application Process:
Step 1: Complete and submit this application. Once received, a member of the LNH team will contact you to schedule your interview.
Step 2: Provide two letters of reference, which must be received no later than March 15, 2026. We encourage you to submit your application first so that your interview can be scheduled in a timely manner.
Step 3: Attend your interview, which will be held in March in Bedford, NH.

As a leader already engaged in your community or profession, how do you envision using the knowledge, perspectives, and relationships gained through the LNH program to strengthen your influence and/or impact in New Hampshire?

Your response should be thorough, reflective, and specific. We encourage you to:
  • Connect your current leadership roles or community involvement to the opportunities LNH offers.
  • Describe how new learning, broader perspectives, or cross-sector insights could enhance your effectiveness.
  • Use concrete, personal examples including past experiences, challenges you hope to address, or goals for the future to illustrate your vision.
  • Be specific about how LNH aligns with your aspirations as a leader in New Hampshire.

We ask that each reference speak to the following:

  • Your demonstrated leadership abilities, with specific examples from professional, community, or other settings.
  • Your positive impact on your community or on New Hampshire more broadly.
  • Your commitment to working collaboratively with others to address challenges to work towards shared goals.
Letters may be written by professional or personal contacts who know you well and can speak meaningfully to these qualities. References may be colleagues, relatives, friends, and/or LNH Alumni.

You may upload the letters as part of your application or email them to mandy@leadershipnh.org. Both letters must be received by March 15, 2026 for your application to be considered complete.

* 9. Interviews will be conducted in Bedford between 9 am and 5pm. Please indicate which date(s) you are available. If the distance for you to drive to Bedford is too great, other alternatives may be possible. If you cannot attend any of these dates, we can offer a virtual interview based on your schedule.

LNH has a limited amount of funds available each year for scholarships, but we may also be able to provide resources for outside scholarships. If you and/or your employer will not be able to cover the full cost of tuition if you are accepted, please click here to complete a scholarship application.
