The Shire is pleased to be preparing Gnowangerup’s first ever Economic Development Strategy to provide a clear roadmap to strengthen and grow the local economy.
This survey provides an opportunity to hear from the community about local economic barriers and challenges, partnership opportunities, potential solutions and priorities for economic development activities.
The strategy will help align local government, businesses, and community stakeholders around shared priorities such as attracting investment, supporting local industries, creating jobs, and improving infrastructure.
By identifying opportunities and addressing barriers to growth, implementing the strategy should ensure resources are used effectively, support long-term economic resilience, and enhance the overall prosperity and quality of life within the community.
Engagement with business owners, community members and other stakeholders will support the creation of a vision for the ongoing prosperity of the Shire, and the strategies required to achieve this.
