Thank you for your interest in the AMAC Runway to Supplier Pitch Competition, a progressive, multi-city tournament-style pitch competition that offers suppliers an opportunity to expand their business into the airport food and retail industry. The journey begins with Round 1: AMAC Chapter/Regional City Competitions. Winners will advance through subsequent rounds, culminating at the AMAC Airport Business Conference in National Harbor, MD.
Thank you for your interest in the AMAC Runway to Supplier Pitch Competition, a progressive, multi-city tournament-style pitch competition that offers suppliers an opportunity to expand their business into the airport food and retail industry. The journey begins with Round 1: AMAC Chapter/Regional City Competitions. Winners will advance through subsequent rounds, culminating at the AMAC Airport Business Conference in National Harbor, MD.
NOTE: This competition is for suppliers offering products or services that can be used by or sold to airport concessionaires. This is not a competition for food, beverage or retail concession concepts (such as restaurants, retail stores, kiosks or franchise operations).
Pitching products or services, including but not limited to:
- Consumer packaged goods (e.g., snacks, beverages, health & wellness products)
- Operational supplies (e.g., packaging, display, cleaning, or inventory tools)
- Technology solutions (e.g., ordering apps, self-checkout systems, supply chain tech)
- Logistics or support services related to concessions
- Other support goods or services relevant to airport concessionaires
This application will serve two key purposes:
- As the initial screening tool to determine your eligibility and business readiness to participate in Round 1 of the competition.
- As your participant profile, which will be shared with judges in each round of the competition, should you advance.
Selected applicants will be invited to compete in a two-part Round 1 pitch competition, which includes:
- A Candidate Exhibit, where you will display and discuss your product or service.
- A Live Business Pitch, where you will present your offering to a panel of judges.
We encourage you to complete the application thoroughly and thoughtfully, as it helps us understand your offering, assess your fit for the airport concessions market, and introduce your business to a wider network of industry leaders.
