Share Your Voice: Help Shape the Future of Waste and Recycling in Your Region |
Welcome to the RiverCOG Waste & Recycling Survey
The Lower Connecticut River Valley Council of Governments (RiverCOG) represents 17 towns across our region - Chester, Clinton, Cromwell, Deep River, Durham, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Killingworth, Lyme, Middlefield, Middletown, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Portland, and Westbrook.
With support from a Regional Waste Authority Grant from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), RiverCOG is assessing waste and recycling systems to identify opportunities for collaboration and shared services. RiverCOG is partnering with RRS and HDR to lead this study.
We invite residents and businesses to share experiences with local waste and recycling services. Your feedback will help us understand what is working well and identify opportunities for improvement. This survey is anonymous and will not ask for personal identification or contact information. Responses will be used only to inform planning and decision-making. The survey is expected to take approximately 7 minutes and will close on January 1, 2026.
