Introduction

Friends of White Oak is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to promote well-being, improve the public image of the White Oak community of Maryland, and advocate for improved
government services. Through advocacy, business expansion, and information resources, we are working to increase development, social opportunities and attract new businesses and services.

While some of the East County community, particularly White Oak, is working to increase commercial and residential develment, existing infrastructure and opportunities can make the community a prime hub for business development and economic expansion. This survey aims to engage the community and gather input about what can be done with the Sears building in the White Oak Shopping Center. It should take 10-12 minutes to complete this survey.

While participating in this survey, your anonymity will be preserved. The website for which the survey will be administered is set to collect anonymous responses that will not track names,
emails, or IP addresses or be stored. Summarized data and conclusions from the survey may be used in future publications with control and ownership of the information remaining the property of Friends of White Oak.

Confidentiality, anonymity, and informed consent are important considerations for this survey and your voluntary participation.
If you have any concerns about any survey aspect, please contact Friends of White Oak at info@friendsofwhiteoak.org.
