We're thrilled to announce dates for our region's annual STEM Wars Technology Competition, Career/Tech Expo, and Science Research Symposium at Northwest Arena in Jamestown, New York, for two days - May 2oth and 21st 2026. This hugely popular event brings together critical stakeholders in support of building and energizing the early talent pipeline in advanced manufacturing. We expect up to 1,000 students to attend and this is your opportunity to meet and engage with them to fuel excitement for technology, your business, career opportunities and more.

At STEM Wars 2026:

Our two day event features:
  • An Elementary School (grades 3-5) STEM Wars Competition
  • A Middle/High School (grades 6-12) STEM Wars Competition
  • A Career Fair and Technology Exposition
  • And new this year! A Science Research Symposium on Day 2 hosted by SUNY STEP
At STEM Wars, manufacturers from throughout the region will showcase their products and speak to students about career opportunities in manufacturing. Technology suppliers will bring the latest state-of-the-art equipment to demonstrate to students and manufacturers. Post-secondary institutions and training providers will share information regarding their specific programming designed to prepare students for careers in manufacturing.
