The Network are pleased to offer scholarships for attendance at the upcoming AFPA Women in Forest Industries Forum for two (2) of our members. Applicants from small - medium enterprises are encouraged to apply. 

Applications close 5pm Friday 28th February 2020.

The Forum will be held on Wednesday 23 March 2020 at Hotel Realm, Canberra.

Each scholarship includes; return economy flights to Canberra (ex Hobart or Launceston), 2 nights accommodation in Canberra and attendance at the Forum and dinner.

Forum program outline
9:00am – Welcome and opening
9:05am – Update on progress since the 2019 workshop
9:20am - Presentation by Communications expert on image/social license, followed by a Q&A
10:10am - Morning tea
10:25am - A representative from a company from each of the AFPA Chambers will present, followed by a Q&A.
11:25am – AFPA Board member presents
11:35am - An update on the Women in Forestry Network
11:50am – A brief recap, suggestions of what next?
12:00pm – Lunch and networking
1:00pm – 5:00pm Softwood Manufacturing Chamber meeting
3:00pm – 5:00pm Hardwood Processing Chamber meeting
3:00pm- 5:00pm Pulp, Paper and Bioproducts Chamber meeting
6:00pm – AFPA Members Dinner
