Connect’s Parent/Carer Survey on Mobile Phones in Schools and More

Connect’s parent/carer survey asks questions about mobile phone use in schools, social media, educational technology and Artificial Intelligence (AI) use in schools. Your response will help to shape Connect’s submission to the Scottish Government’s recently-launched consultation on restricting mobile phones in schools (open until 17 Nov), as well as ensuring parent and carer voices are heard in future national conversations about children and young people’s online lives and online learning.

For this survey, you will only be able to submit one reply per participant. If you have multiple children please answer for the young person to whom most topics apply.

Our survey will close on 5th October 2026.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a set of computer-based technologies that can perform tasks usually done by humans, including problem-solving, decision-making, or creating writing, images and videos.
